The perch is an exciting fish to fish for - either with plug and earthworm or with a small spinner. They come in all sorts of different lakes, so it should be possible to find a good fishing spot.

The perch are known in the spiny dorsal fin and the red ventral and anal fins as well as its high back..

Biology

The perch is a schooling fish and move both at the bottom and in the open water. It is common in all kinds of lakes and rivers with low current and taken in brackish water in the inner Danish waters.

In lakes with good nutrition to fry but little to juvenile and adult perch, one can see "a thousand brothers" - large schools of small perch at 50-75g.
